Breast Lift Surgery

Also known as mastopexy, the procedure can restore breast contour and correct asymmetry, by getting rid of excess skin and tightening the adjacent tissue to support and reshape the new contour. The nipple and areola would also be raised to a higher position.

Each procedure is personalized. The incision type and surgery technique depends on the quality of your skin, the degree of sagging, the shape and size of your breasts and the placement of the areolas and nipples. During the initial consultation, the plastic surgeon would examine your breasts. They will check your medical history and current medications, and will consider your preferred breast size and shape to determine the right approach for surgery.

In addition to drooping breasts, areolas that have become bigger over time can be corrected with the procedure. If your breasts are sagging as well as underdeveloped or small, you can consider having breast augmentation done simultaneously with the mastopexy / breast lift. Along with saline and silicone gel implants, our breast surgeons use gummy bear implants and the latest IDEAL IMPLANT for breast augmentation.

Post-surgery, limited lower body exercises can be resumed after two weeks. Strenuous exercise can be resumed after six weeks.
