Dr. Spero Theodorou – Credentials

Dr. Spero Theodorou is an experienced and talented plastic surgeon with a practice based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Spero Theodorou MD specializes in providing a full range of cosmetic breast surgery procedures designed to enhance your looks. A teaching faculty for ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), Dr Spero Theodorou is committed to providing you with personalized care in a safe and trusting environment atmosphere with the highest regard for quality.

Dr Theodorou strives to provide his patients the improvements in body image they have always dreamed about with fast recovery, minimal scarring, and the latest in technology. He is most noted by his many fashion clients for his runway ready BodyTite™ liposuction procedures.

He is also specially trained in the latest SmartLipo liposuction techniques such as SmartLipo Triplex™. Dr. Theodorou runs bodySCULPT^® - an all inclusive plastic surgery practice in Manhattan, New York City (NYC). He works with an amazing staff that goes the extra mile to make sure each patient's individual needs are met. Dr. Theodorou is the section editor for liposuction for the prestigious Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal.

Born to a Greek father and a Colombian mother, Dr. Spero J Theodorou started his training as Research Fellow for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Theodorou studied at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, and the Monmouth Medical Center/Hanhemann University in Long Branch, New Jersey. He returned to Chicago to continue his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center at Rush University. Dr. Theodorou finished his training in New York, at NYU's prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital on an aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship. Currently, Dr Spero Theodorou serves as the Surgical Director of bodySCULPT^®.
