98 Percent of Women Satisfied with Breast Augmentation Results

According to a study published in the official medical journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) earlier this year, 98 percent of women are happy with the results of their breast augmentation surgery.

The study, which evaluated 225 women on a consecutive basis, reported that the respondents noted that the outcomes exceeded their expectations. Most of the women felt that the cosmetic surgery procedure had improved their quality of life and self-esteem. Recovery time, results, complications and psychological benefits were among the factors analyzed.

Most of the women had saline-filled breast implants placed under the muscle. The candidates took pain medications for about five days and were off from work for about a week. They were just back to normal activity without any signs of having undergone surgery in just 25 days! Eighty-five percent of the candidates commented on their new breast size as “just right” and seventy five percent said the same about breast firmness.

When they were asked to rate the augmentation results on a scale of 1 to 10, more than half of the candidates rated it a perfect 10. Up to 92% of the candidates reported improved self-esteem and as much as 64% said the surgery had enhanced quality of life.

Patient satisfaction is the ultimate yardstick in measuring the effectiveness of a plastic surgery procedure and this study proves that breast augmentation surgery can fulfill a woman’s expectations – both physically and psychologically.

However, to enjoy a satisfactory outcome, aspirants should ensure that their breast enhancement procedure is performed by the right plastic surgeon – one who is skilled and experienced in this particular plastic surgery procedure. With the right surgeon, you would benefit from the use of the latest techniques which assure safety, efficiency and superior outcomes.
